A new biodiversity conservation site has been launched

A new website www.biodiversity.am has been developed within the framework of the Twinning project "Strengthened protection and sustainable use of biodiversity in Armenia in line with European standards " implemented in cooperation with experts and institutions from Armenia, Czech Republic, Finland.
People interested in biodiversity in Armenia can find detailed information about the project, the institutions involved in it, and especially the activities of the project. The website is constantly updated, all the news about the progress of the project is published regularly. The interviews of the representatives of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia and other institutions, that are available on the website, present the scope and potential of the program.
In addition, it is planned to publish the relevant documents and results related to the program on the website.
Anyone can contact the project team through our website, as well as send questions or comments on the submitted work. You can now follow the progress of the program on its Facebook page.
"We are very happy that we already have a new communication tool, due to which we can present the potential and unique value of Armenia's natural heritage. We hope that we will receive a large number of feedback from the public interested in nature conservation on our work, "said the External Relations Expert of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic Tomas Ruzicka.
The main goal of this two-year program is the enhanced protection and sustainable use of biodiversity in Armenia in accordance with international (European) standards. It aims to provide institutional support for legislative changes in the field of nature protection and biodiversity. The project is jointly implemented by the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic, the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
