The Ministry of Nature Protection made decisions of administrative fine on 1.43 million AMD for the violation of environmental norms and 1.54 million AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature

During 23-28.06.2014 period 24 decisions of administrative fine on 1.43 million AMD were made as a result of carried out inspections, detected violations in the quarter accounts of nature protection and nature utilization payments and cases review given to the Inspection’s proceedings and 1.54 million AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature.

Especially:

A decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD was made against individual as a result of illegal cutting case review given to Kotayk regional department’s proceedings and 84.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature. The workers of Shirak regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD against an individual for the detected illegal cutting case and 9.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature.

4 decisions of administrative fine on 200.0 thousand AMD were made against individuals by the workers of Tavush regional department as a result of detected illegal cutting 4 cases review and 1.07 million AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature and the decisions of administrative fine on 150.0 thousand AMD were made as a result of cases review given to the department’s proceedings.

The workers of “Biodiversity, land, hazardous substances and waste control” department made 2 decisions of administrative fine on 100.0 thousand AMD for the detected violation of land conservation norms and 220.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature.

For the similar violation cases the workers of Aragatsotn regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD against an individual and 20.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature, the workers of Lori regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD against an individual and the workers of Armavir regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 80.0 thousand AMD against an individual for the detected violations.

 The workers of Aragatsotn and Kotayk regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD against an individual as a result of uncovered transfer of lubricants case review detected during carried out inspections.

The workers of Kotayk regional department made 2 decisions of administrative fine on 100.0 thousand AMD against 2 individuals for the violation of atmospheric air conservation norms detected during carried out inspections.

Gegharkunik regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD against business entity for not producing quarterly accounts of nature protection and nature utilization payments by a specified date.

The workers of “Biodiversity, land, hazardous substances and waste control” department made a decision of administrative fine on 100.0 thousand AMD for illegal transfer of timber and 60.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature. The workers of Shirak regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 100.0 thousand AMD for similar violation case and 30.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature. The workers of Kotayk regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 100.0 thousand AMD for the detected violation and 45.0 thousand AMD was calculated the damage caused to the nature.

        Gegharkunik regional department carried out joint inspections with “Sevan” National Park SNCO as a result of which 7.5 kg live crayfish was confiscated which was released back to Lake Sevan.

The workers of Armavir regional department made a decision of administrative fine on 50.0 thousand AMD for detected illegal hunting of crayfish.

Totally, during the mentioned period 1.67 million AMD was transferred to RA State budget from punitive measures of State Environmental Inspectorate of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia.
