RA Minister of Nature Protection Aramayis Grigoryan signed an order on intensifying activities struggling against illegal tree cutting in specially protected areas of nature.
The corresponding structural subdivision of the RA Ministry of Nature Protection Staff was assigned to submit a project on activities struggling against illegal tree cutting in specially protected areas of nature within three days after the order enters into force, in case of approval to engage the RA Police adjunct to the GoA.
The directors of the RA specially protected areas of nature have been assigned
1)to develop and to approve project on activities struggling against illegal tree cutting in specially protected areas of nature under the guidance of corresponding state non-commercial organisations providing twenty-four-hour dutywithin three days after the order enters into force.
2)organise activities on free of charge waste firewood purveyance and release for non-production purposes according to the joint order of N1535-N decree of the GoA (October 27, 2011), N226-A decree of the RA Minster of Agriculture (November 29, 2011) and N253-A decree of the RA Minster of Nature Protection (November 29, 2011) and the joint order of N227-A decree of the RA Minster of Agriculture (November 29, 2011), N144-A of decree the RA Minister of Territorial Administration (November 30, 2011) and N254-A decree of the RA Minster of Nature Protection (November 29, 2011).
The Head of Nature Protection State Inspectorate of the RA Ministry of Nature Protection Staff has been assigned
1)Realize regular supervision over
a. Republic forest areas, residential areas nearby the forests, bypass roads
b. The road between the main sentry posts of specially protected areas up to highway
c. Firewood sale stores
2) Organise joint visits of corresponding state governmental bodies, police regional offices and territorial units adjunct to the GoA
3) In case of detecting illegal firewood transporting means and the amount of money as environmental damage exceeds 200thousand AMD, undertake relevant activities, thus ensuring the further activity procedure.
