Today, RA Minister of Nature Protection Aramayis Grigoryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Petr Mikyska.
Appreciating the progress in cooperation and on the basis of the declaration signed jointly between the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, the parties discussed future plans and upcoming programs.
Ambassador Mikyska proposed to continue collaboration in consistent management of noxious substances and wastes, particularly within the framework of NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme and expressed willingness to provide technical and professional assistance for the solution to the problem of eliminating expired pesticides.
Aramayis Grigoryan thanking for the paid visit and willingness to collaborate, hoped that the arrangements made in the declaration signed between the relevant departments of the two countries will make grounds for numerous new projects.
In this context the sides discussed the perspectives of partnership in the sector of climate change adjustability and mitigation, atmosphere protection, soil conservation and cultivation, ecotourism development in Armenia, efficient and stable management of SPAs.
Within the scope of the above mentioned declaration, the cooperation between “Dilijan” and “Krkonose” national parks will be continuous.
