The 5th session of the Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP GREEN) countries continues in Brussels

Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Khachik Hakobyan participates in the 5th session of the "Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood" (EaP GREEN) countries continues in Brussels (February 10-11).

The "Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood" (EaP GREEN) partnership project is directed to assist six Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries in their transition to green economies to avoid economic progress dependence on environmental degradation and natural resource expenditure.

While reporting Deputy Minister Hakobyan noted in his speech: “In April, 2015, the coordinating session of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Demonstration component Project of the EaP GREEN Programme of the EU was held in Yerevan. Project activities and outputs were discussed. RECP center formation was appreciated. The center will organize consultation services as well as will develop “Green”economic strategy for resource efficiency and new technologies for clean production.
