On February 15, RA Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan met Armenian Young Lawyers Association (AYLA) NGO President Karen Zadoyan as well as the officials of the partner organizations of ''Commitment to Constructive Dialogue'' project, which focuses on strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations /CSOs/, forming policies through involving monitoring. The objective of the project is to establish a constructive dialogue between the Government and CSOs; the latter will enable to identify current issues, create a platform in order to outline the solutions thus developing new courses for public policy.
Three selected target sectors of 9 approved the program, at present project executives submit it to the different departments with the objective of building on partnership ties and pointing at joint work.
Minister Artsvik Minasyan welcomed the initiative and the will to cooperate.“We are willingly to colloborate with all the defined courses, which are considered foremost and principle within the framework of the program. The RA Ministry of Nature Protection has already undertaken several activities directed to enhancing transparency, dealing with wider layers of the private sector, moreover, we do our utmost to introduce mechanisms meant for ensuring public access to the outputs and proposals to increase efficiency of the actions with responsibility”: Artsvik Minasyan remarkably noted in his speech.
''Commitment to Constructive Dialogue'' project funded by the EU launched on December 15, 2016. The project duration is 34 months.
