Environmentalist Diana Eghyan, who is engaged in animal protection, has won in the nomination of "Young Environmentalist"


Due to the nationwide nomination and voting, Diana Eghyan, Karen Eroyan and Vazgen Galstyan were nominated for "Young Environmentalist" nomination in the final phase of “Youth Award 2018” project organized by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. E nvironmentalis Diana Eghyan, who is engaged in stray animal protection and has founded a shelter for homeless and disabled cats, was recognized as the winner during the solemn ceremony held on December 13.
Congratulating the winner on behalf of the Ministry of Nature Protection, Deputy Minister Amen Ghazaryan handed the prize and the Red Book of Armenia to Diana Eghyan and noted that the younger generation has become more interested in preserving native nature, which states the rise of patriotism.
Additionally, in the course of the meeting there were handed awards to young agronomist, scholar, cultural figure, Homeland defender, worker, athlete, repatriate and business nominees.
