"EPIU" SA invites experts to work


 “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Agency, with backing of the Embassy of UK in Armenia, implements "Enhancing the management system of specially protected areas of nature in Armenia through the international cooperation and strengthening capacities of the administrative staff of SNCOs" grant project.
The objective of the project is to improve biodiversity conservation in specially protected areas of nature (SPAs) through strengthening of  the relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain, furtherance of capacities of administrative staff of SNCOs governing specially protected areas of nature (SPAs) and enhancing the public wider layers’ access to information about  protected values.
“Environmental Project Implementation Unit” SA has made a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Nature Protection and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
The project envisages to develop:

  1. The strategy road map of the specially protected areas in Armenia,
  2. The strategy road map in the spheres of conservation, protection, reproduction and use of biodiversity of the Republic of Armenia.

 In a bid to accomplish these activities, “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” SA invites two experts to work.

Strategy road maps shall be developed within thirty (30) days of the date of signing the contract. The draft of the memorandum will be provided by “Environmental Project Implementation Unit”  SA.
