Today, Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan received the delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia H.E Mrs. Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė.
Minister Grigoryan greeted the Ambassador, wishing her effective and fruitful work in Armenia.
Submitting the legislative reforms undertaken by the Ministry, Minister Grigoryan stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of environmental policy.
The Ambassador was interested in the successful environmental projects of Armenia over the last year, at the same time emphasizing the essential for the exchange of experience.
The parties expressed confidence that the cooperation on various international platforms can impart positive impetus to bilateral relations.
On the margins of the exchange of experience, the Ambassador of Lithuania proposed to visit Lithuania to get acquainted with the successful projects already implemented in their country, notably, the use of plastics, their reduction, and climate change projects.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Environment handed the Red Book of Armenia to the Ambassador of Lithuania.
