Formed a new Public Council attached to the Minister of Environment

To ensure the full-fledged participation of the civil society in solving the problems, reforms and fulfilling strategic programs of the Ministry of Environment, a new public council has been set up by the order of the Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan; the Council members and the procedure were approved. By the same order, the order N256-A (September 2, 2014) of the Minister of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia on "Setting up a public council attached to the Minister of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia, approving the Council members and the procedure " was revoked.
Thus, out of about 44 applications for inclusion in the new Public Council attached to the Minister of Environment, the following organizations and individuals meeting the requirements for membership in the Council were selected:

Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan extended a vote of thanks to the representatives of the environmental community and those interested  for their interest in the formation of the council and for their readiness to assist in addressing existing sectorial problems.
At the end of this month, it is envisaged to convene the first session of the council.
