A training workshop on ''The danger and prohibition of open burning '' took place in Aragacotn region

A training seminar was held in Aarhus Centre operating in the city of Aparan, Aragacotn region, organized within the scopes of “Best Available Techniques and Best Environmental Practices (BAT/BEP) for reduction of unintentionally produced persistent organic pollutants releases from open burning sources” project 

RA Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Khachik Hakobyan was on a working visit to Almaty

Environmental violations were detected as a result of enhanced protection in specially protected areas of nature

During the week the employees of the conservation unit of “Sevan NP” SNCO composed 6 reports on environmental breaches: 2 reports were composed on illegal fishing, 2 reports were composed on illegal grazing and 2 reports were composed on illegal crayfishing.

Bears kept in the area of “GAJEGORTS” CJSC were transferred to the Zoological Garden of Yerevan 

Misha and Masha bears kept in the area of “GAJEGORTS” CJSC were transferred to the Zoological Garden of Yerevan within the frames of cooperation of Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the RA Ministry of Nature Protection and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), by the tripartite agreement reached with the directorate of “GAJEGORTS” CJSC.
