On January 11, there took place a consultative meeting; in attendance were the representatives of the Ministry of Nature Protection, Gegharkunik Regional Administration, “Sevan” NP SNCO, the RA Police, Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, inclusive of several fishermen doing fishing at Lake Sevan.

"Eco House and Camp" civic initiative has made a statement, which solicits the reality, thus diminishing efficient and dedicated work of “Dilijan” national park in recent months.
The initiative accuses- in the video entitled "large-scale illegal cutting of trees"- noting that "exclusively large, expensive trees used to make furniture have been cut in Pishik district of “Dilijan” national park”.

The final workshop on “Best Available Techniques and Best Environmental Practices for the elimination of unintentionally produced POPs releases” project took place. The household waste sorting infrastructures had been set up in the landfill of the city of Ararat under one of the project's components.
