The RA Minister of Nature Protection-led delegation participated in the second Eastern Partnership (EaP) formal ministerial meeting on environment and climate change took place in Luxembourg. In his speech, Minister of Nature Protection E. Grigoryan went over issues referring to climate change, waste management, biodiversity conservation and climate funding.

On October 18, there took place the signing ceremony of the two agreements in the Ministry of Nature Protection. Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia Jonathan Lacôte, Head of the EU member states consortium Michael Suter, Representative of the French " Artois-Picardie" Water Agency Jacques Kotel, officers of the Ministry of Nature Protection, the embassy and international organizations were present at the event.
There were considered issues apropos of usage of industrial chemicals
There took place the training and capacity building workshop focused on backing the management of industrial chemicals utilization (import, use, storage, transport and disposal) in Tsaghkhadzor, organized by the Secretariat for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal, and the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade.
