Distinguished workers of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia, members of councils attached to the minister, representatives of international organizations, mass media and non-governmental organizations, dear citizens concerned about environmental problems,
I express gratitude for more than one-and-a-half year productive work and cooperation in nature protection sphere. During my term in office, we have accomplished considerable work with the joint efforts focused on conducting large-scale, systematic reforms addressed to environmental protection, targeted at addressing raised challenges over the decades in environmental protection sphere. Thankful for our multifaceted ideas and attitudes, often as a result of keen conflicts, we have succeeded in shaping our common vision, providing best collective solutions to socioeconomic and environmental components of the problems. I extend a vote of thanks to the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) and the leadership of the Republic of Armenia for entrusting me with assuming this sphere, as well as all partners of the government and public administration system for the joint work.
During my ministerial term I have always been guided by the three important principles: professionalism, responsibility and patriotism. I am sure that the application of these principles is also significant for you, thus everyone’s efforts (regardless of which field of activity we will be working) will also be meant for Armenian unique, remarkable nature, which is the guarantee of prosperity for our country and welfare and natural life for our nation.
My previous spheres of activity have not allowed me to survey environmental protection sector profoundly. Coming to this sphere, I familiarized with the issues and reinforced my conviction that environmental protection lies at the core of all sectors, being the most important. This realization will already guide me throughout my further activity.
I wish all of us success and new achievements in the conservation of the enviornment.
Yours sincerely, Artsvik Minasyan
