The officers of the SNCOs under the Ministry of Environment have summarized  2020

Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan held a meeting. The Directors  of the SNCOs under the Ministry summed up 2020; submitted the achievements of the year, the implemented activities, recorded problems, by presenting brief reports, spoke about the priority directions set for 2021.

The Minister of Environment held a meeting-discussion on the cooperation between RA MoE “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The meeting was attended by Levon Azizyan, Acting Director of “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” of the RA MoE, Armen Chilingaryan, UNDP Disaster Risk Reduction Programme  Coordinator, and UNDP Climate, Environment, Resilience Programme Analyst (Team Leader) Hovhannes Ghazaryan.

RA Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan received the delegation headed by Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin

Addressing the guests, the Minister extended a vote of thanks for the initiative of the meeting, and stressed that  the close cooperation with international partners, European countries, remarkably with EU member states is very important in environmental management.

Deputy Minister of Environment Anna Mazmanyan’s working visit to “Dilijan” national park SNCO

On January 22, Deputy Minister A. Mazmanyan along with the working group conducted a visit to "Dilijan" national park within the framework of which, she first held a working consultation with the staff of “Dilijan” NP.

MEETING-DISCUSSION AT DILIJAN NATIONAL PARK

On January 22-23,  the staff of “Dilijan” National Park participated in the final seminar of the preparation of the 7th National Report of the UNEP/GEF Convention to Combat Desertification grant project.
