Inspectors have been briefed about new legislative norms streamlining chemicals and waste management

A workshop was held in Yerevan Aarhus Centre; in attendance were the inspectors of Yerevan and regional divisions of Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Ministry of Nature Protection of  RA as well as inspectors of the Health Inspectorate of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia. 

A two-year-old bear was transferred to the Zoological Garden of Yerevan from the restaurant complex in Gyumri

Within the framework of the partnership along with Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), by the trilateral agreement reached with the directorate of ''Voske Blur'' LLC, the bear kept in the area owned by the restaurant complex, Shirak Region was transferred to the Zoological Garden of Yerevan on December 6.

"Our autumn" exhibition took place in State Museum of Nature of Armenia

On December 1, 2017, the opening of "Our autumn" exhibition took place in State Museum of Nature of Armenia. The authors of the exhibition are Vahe Baghumyan and Nare Hakhnazaryan, who study at Yerevan Panos Terlemezian State College of Fine Arts.

Today, the final event of the environmental poster contest was held in the frames of “Environmental protection through painting” event scopes co-organized by the Ministry of Nature Protection and Artists’ Union of Armenia.

RA Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Kh. Hakobyan was on a working visit to Brussels (the Kingdom of Belgium), had a participation in the final conference of “Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood'' (EaP Green) project  funded by the European Union.
