Water balance determination will promote efficient and sustainable water resource management of river basins in the republic   

The Executive approved the method for the determination of the RA water balance by river basins, through which maximum permissible norm of human effects on aquatic ecosystems will be defined. It was developed on the basis of the RA Prime Minister’s relevant instructions.

“Khosrov Forest: call and regeneration” exhibition was opened

On November 14 “Khosrov Forest: call and regeneration” exhibition was opened in Artists’ Union of Armenia. The artists’ works were painted at “Khosrov Forest” state reserve. The idea of implementing this exhibition was the RA Ministry of Nature Protection and Artists’ Union of Armenia.

The employees of the RA MNP Staff and separated subdivisions, Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body participated in the city-wide tree planting and clean-up day organized by Yerevan Municipality (November 11).  There were performed tree planting and greenery activities in the area of “Arabkir park”, provided by Yerevan Municipality. The RA Ministry workers also accomplished cleaning activities.

The workers of “Sevan” national park SNCO confiscated 129 whitefish
The employees of the conservation unit of “Sevan NP” SNCO composed 4 reports on environmental violations: 2 reports were composed on illegal fishing and 2 reports were composed on illegal crayfishing. 16 polyethylene fishing nets, 129 whitefish and 10,5 kg crayfish were confiscated.
