The main management body of the National Statistic al Service and its subdivisions is the Statistic al State Committee (hereinafter Committee). The head of  the National Statistic Service is the head ( president ) of  this Committee. The Committee fulfills and manages the following activities: policy development in the fields of state statistical development of regulation and organization of long term activities, supervision of the project implementation of the state statistical activities as well as coordination of administrative statistics foreseen by the Program of the state statistical activities of RA.
