Training course for journalists

On April 14-15, the state institution "Environmental Program Implementation Office" of the Ministry of Environment organized a training course for journalists in Aghveran, "Reducing the risks of investments aimed at energy-efficient modernization of buildings" of the UNDP
 program "Creation of a system of measurement, accountability and certification in the field of buildings and within the framework of the "knowledge management" component.
In his welcoming speech, Acting Director of the State Institution Armen Yesoyan noted that the main goal of the activities implemented within the framework of the program is the fulfillment of our country's obligations aimed at reducing greenhouse gases, where the involvement of the mass media is essential from the point of view of proper public awareness.
Project manager Vahram Jalalyan presented the scope of the project, the process, the implemented works. The experts of the project informed the journalists about energy-efficient modernization of buildings, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, energy passports of buildings, energy management information system and other topics.

The program "Reducing the risks of investments aimed at energy-efficient modernization of buildings" is implemented by the Armenian office of the United Nations Development Program, with the financing of the Green Climate Fund, under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
The partner for the implementation of the "Measurability, Accountability and Certification system in the building sector and knowledge management" component of the project program is the "Environmental Program Implementation Office" state institution.
